On May 19, The Chamber honored our South Florida Health Care Heroes®. During the most emotional event of the year, we took time to recognize first responders of the Surfside collapse and devoted health care heroes during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Also during the month, we announced Manny Medina as The Chamber's 2022 Sand in My Shoes® award recipient, our most prestigious recognition to outstanding community leaders in South Florida. Manny has led the way to transforming Miami into a world-class technology and innovation ecosystem.

On May 30, along with the American Legion and local veterans, The Chamber hosted the services to honor and remember the U.S. soldiers who lost their lives in battle.

In addition, a very successful Resilient Solutions Summit was held in May. Follow along to read what else happened during the month and what is coming ahead in June.
