South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS) is a program of FDOT. SFCS goal is to help reduce use of single-occupancy vehicles. In addition to supporting carpool/vanpool and transit use, SFCS also encourages teleworking. SFCS is currently providing a FREE online teleworking course with certification to companies in South Florida. Whether implementing new policies or updating existing ones, a robust teleworking program can mitigate business disruption. Certification can provide a framework for communicating expectations to employees and maintaining or boosting productivity. Teleworkers will learn to set up the ideal home office, how to better balance their work and family life, and how to recognize and avoid common remote working pitfalls.

A trial license is available for evaluation at no cost. That license may be used by any member in the organization. Upon completing the trial, additional free licenses may be requested. The program will continue until the supply of licenses are exhausted.
