The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's 2024 Goals Conference was an inspiring event that highlighted our significant impact on the South Florida community. This annual gathering brought together business leaders, community members, and dignitaries for a day filled with insightful sessions and networking opportunities.

President and CEO Alfred Sanchez delivered the State of the Chamber Address, showcasing our ambitious 5-year strategic plan, notable achievements, and future vision. Key highlights included strengthened ties with Japan and the Port of Yokohama, outcomes from our workforce survey, legislative priorities, and impactful initiatives like the Live Healthy and Live Local Acts, as well as programs such as Leadership Miami and Senior Executive Orientation. Miami-Dade Commission Chair Oliver Gilbert also shared valuable insights on expanding Mass Rapid Transit in Miami-Dade County.

The conference honored outstanding community leaders. Don Slesnick and Jeannett Slesnick (posthumously) received the Henry M. Flagler Community Builder Award for their exceptional contributions to South Florida. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava was awarded the M. Athalie Range Miami Pioneer for Progress Award, recognizing her trailblazing achievements and innovative leadership.

The event featured a vibrant Networking Reception with Miami’s Diplomatic Corps and a Consular Corps Reception, fostering further community engagement.
