21st ANNUAL FREE MIAMI RIVERDAY FESTIVAL Saturday, April 1, Lummus Park, 250 NW North River Drive
Celebrates the History and Culture of Miami’s Mixed-Use River
 
Miami, Florida - Celebrate the Miami River’s exciting legacy at the 21st Annual Free Miami Riverday festival this Saturday, April 1, 2017, 1 pm to 6 pm, in Downtown Miami’s Historic Lummus Park District, 250 NW North River Drive.  Miami Riverday is the only event in Miami-Dade County featuring free riverboat rides, live music from Luis Bofill and Band and Nil Lara, kayak and paddleboard races, children activities, local cuisine and drinks, historical re-enactments and tours in the 1844 Fort Dallas and the 1856 Wagner Homestead, environmental education, and a sponsor expo, all along Lummus Park’s recently completed new public Riverwalk and dock.
 
This year Miami Riverday is dedicated to the memory of long-term Miami River Champion Captain Beau Payne, P&L Towing.
