Local, State, Federal and Regional Common Goals

  • Foster constructive working relationships with elected, administrative and executive government officials at each level of government, to identify and address priority issues of the South Florida business community.
  • Educate the Chamber membership on issues of importance and develop and establish a process that facilitates participation, determination and achievement of a Chamber consensus.
  • Provide forums to bring candidates to the Chamber.
  • Monitor Census 2010 with a view toward ensuring an accurate count.
  • Identify champions and experts on issue areas to maintain clear, concise and consistent messaging on Chamber legislative priorities.
  • Advocate on behalf of Chamber substantive committees on issues that impact the business community and report on the success of those efforts.
  • Act as a convener for the business community to foster collaboration and address business issues with one voice.
  • Reach out to, and work with, partners on a local, regional and statewide basis.
