Diversity & Inclusion Goals

Develop a proposed strategy for implementing the Chamber's Diversity & Inclusion Commitment Statement.

Collaborate with other Committees in the Domestic Business Development Group to produce programming on the business imperative for diversity and inclusion with one to be held in the fall of 2010 and the other to be held in the spring of 2011 (i.e., Healthcare Committee and disparity in healthcare services as it relates to ethnicity).

Host a workshop or seminar on each of the following broad topics from the Chamber's Diversity & Inclusion Commitment Statement: corporate responsibility, leadership development, supplier diversity and talent management.

Work with the Chamber's Small Business Committee to develop criteria for a diversity and inclusion award to be presented as part of the Top 100 Minority Business Awards luncheon.

Develop a targeted outreach and recruitment effort to increase the number of committee members with a focus on business professionals in Greater Miami whose job responsibilities include or are related to diversity and inclusion.
