Military Affairs
Create a feeder system for the needs of the military community and bring them to the attention of the appropriate Chamber Committee.
Strengthen Community awareness of the Miami-Dade County Military Industry:

Continue support for visiting ships/Fleet Week programs

Continue Service Person of the Year Awards

Support MDDA's Doing Business with the Military program and other MDDA activities

Host a Familiarization Tour of Military Installations
Produce, provide and promote a Web-based communication vehicle, potentially through social media networks, that creates community awareness of South Florida military events and organizations
Continue to monitor opportunity related to AFRICOM's potential relocation to Miami and engage Governmental Affairs Group as appropriate.
