HYPE Miami® Goals

Host programs and forums designed specifically for young professionals:

  • Series focused on how the Chamber offers opportunity, connectivity and solutions to business problems
  • Educational workshops on economic, social and local political issues facing young professionals 
  • Networking events with high profile business leaders, Chamber top executives and local celebrities to connect with young professionals
  • Committee Event/Initiative to encourage members and young professionals to participate on other Chamber committees

Produce a "How To" guide for young professionals to involve them in the Chamber and connect them with mentors maximizing their chamber membership (i.e. an ambassador program for young professionals).

Collaborate with other local young professional organizations as an opportunity to broaden the Chamber network.


THE HYPE AWARDS: ACKNOWLEDGING INNOVATION & ACHIEVEMENT AMONG YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

HYPE Miami® (Helping Young Professional Engage) was created to provide networking opportunities that connect young professionals with prominent business leaders throughout the Greater Miami community. The program identifies initiatives where participants can focus their efforts to positively impact the Miami-Dade business community and contribute to the development of Greater Miami. These opportunities may come from social events, business workshops, mentorships with business leaders or through educational seminars. The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce will recognize young professionals (under the age of 40) that have made notable contributions in the community.

Mission

To facilitate business development opportunities among young professionals by providing the perfect environment to meet, exchange ideas, expand and/or learn about new business as well as proactively shape the future workforce of the region and build the next generation of leaders.
