Continue existing scholarship awards: Jeanne Bellamy Scholarship and Maloof Family Scholarship Fund.
Create and implement advocacy plan, short- and long- term (pre-legislative, during legislative and post-legislative session), that addresses funding for education.
NEW: The Maloof Family Scholarship Fund was created by Chamber board member Al Maloof, PhD. This scholarship ensures that for 10 years, five deserving Miami-Dade County high school seniors would have a scholarship opportunity to enable them to attend the college of their choice. For information about the Maloof Family Scholarship or for information about how you can set up a scholarship fund, contact Cornelia Pereira at 305-577-5432 or cpereira@miamichamber.com.
