GOLIN HARRIS NAMED PRWEEK LARGE PR AGENCY OF THE YEAR 2010

 

CHICAGO (March 18, 2010) – GolinHarris was named Large PR Agency of the Year 2010 at the eleventh annual PRWeek Awards ceremony held in New York City.  This prestigious award recognizes financial performance, client growth and retention, thought leadership, and PR creativity and innovation.

 

The PRWeek Awards, sponsored by PRWeek Magazine, showcases and recognizes the best practices in the PR industry and are among the highest accolades in the public relations industry. 

 

PRWeek noted that “judges were impressed by the agency’s thought leadership, financial performance, client wins and service, particularly in a tough economic year.”  The judging panel praised Get Real, GolinHarris’ thought piece on authenticity, calling it “timely and impressive.”  Get Real deconstructs the concept of authenticity and provides an easy-to-use 12-step process for applying authenticity.  In addition, the judges recognized GolinHarris’ Gold Standard client service model, its social media thought leadership and Al’s Day, the agency’s annual community service day to honor founder Al Golin.

 

It is the second time in four years that GolinHarris has been selected as Large PR Agency of the Year.  This award comes on the heels of the agency being named 2009 Asia Pacific PR Consultancy of the Year.
